Agricultural Handler Exposure Task Force, L.L.C.
The Agricultural Handler Exposure Task Force, L.L.C. (AHETF) is a consortium of 28 agricultural chemical companies that formed a joint data development task force in December 2001 to design and develop a database on exposure of agricultural workers during the mixing, loading, and/or application of pesticides. The exposure data will cover all important types of mixing/loading systems, types of application equipment, and types of formulations. The results will satisfy FIFRA (Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act) data requirements and be used to assess exposure potential and conduct risk assessments for pesticide products.
